《Resident Evil 9: Requiem》 Downtown Raccoon City: Giant Spider Boss Fight

Leon returns to Raccoon City, full of memories! You can explore the street first to find various items, but BSAA supply crates can only be opened later. After passing through the Appelgate Hotel, you will suddenly encounter a giant spider. You have to follow a linear path, running through a dilapidated building for your life.

When your mission objective changes to "Defeat the Giant Spider", you know you've reached the boss room — time to go head-to-head.

Scattered around the room are explosive containers. Prioritize aiming at the throbbing weak point on the spider's back — attacking other parts will deal significantly reduced damage. You can find plenty of shotgun shells in the room, so your shotgun is your primary weapon, unless you can find the perfect angle to land a killing blow with the Requiem revolver.

After defeating the spider, Leon falls with it into the subway tunnel below — classic Leon! Follow the linear subway tunnel for a short distance to escape. When you exit, you'll see a massive gate rigged with explosives by the BSAA.

Our next task is to collect the missing detonator parts, repair the detonator, and blow up the gate to proceed. This will be a fairly long journey.
